I wanted realistic plastic ocean creatures for my 18 month old to play with. I initially bought a much less expensive set, but became concerned about safety when my son started dunking the shark in his drinking cup. These are a bit more expensive, but I have peace of mind that he is not dunking lead paint in his water cup. They are very detailed and realustic looking. Very happy Bout this purchase. Will definitely get more sets.

My grandson loves these animal figures! They are nice size, colorful and realistic. Playing with these animal figures had even deepened his love and respect for the animal kingdom.

Beautiful. But paint comes off easy.

The flying fish and the kelp dragon are unique...but all the items are nice and sturdy.

The animals are beautifully painted and are sturdy. Some of the toys are drastically larger then others , you would think the whale shark would be bigger then the seahorse, but overall a great set. One draw back is that the paint does come off so if you have a toddler that likes to chew on toys or scrap them against the wall there may be transfer.

Bought these Indian Ocean Animal Figurines for my grandson, just because he's my grandson. He absolutely fell in love with these. Especially the flying fish. The attention to detail is amazing! I have bought many sets from VOLNAU and he loves them all. I hope they continue to come out with more sets since I will by them all!
