I grow several large South American cactus in the "cereus" family. None cold hardy. I live in Texas, but we have rare freezes. For a long time, my spouse and I would take them in and out all winter, but some are now ten feet tall and/or weigh almost 100 pounds. So, I ordered several of these grow lights with the idea of keeping them in my entryway all winter, with just enough light to keep them alive. Did NOT want to hang anything from ceiling or bolt it to a wall. Stuck these at the bottom of the cactus, at its base on top of soil and slanted upwards. Did not break, did not go out, kept the huge cactus alive all winter! I had one light for each cactus, and tried to use at least 50 hours per week. One of my other light was a pink single one, and one was a different light that consisted of 2 bendable metal arms with more classical small "white" lights. I rotated about every day or two. The grow light is thin, light weight and bright, this works well however I would like it if it came with a remote with a timer , the seller is very accommodating and listened to my suggestions, though this light doesn’t come with a timer or fan I will purchase a small desk fan to circulate the air in my grow tent and a timer that I can plug the unit into, over all I do like the lights

The light is bright and worked fine. Had it on my lemon tree 18 hrs/day to help them mature/turn yellow. After 3 weeks did not notice any difference.

Wish I would have bought this during the summer. Below freezing Temps and my roses are still growing like crazy.

I like how easy it was to hang. I have never had a plant "grow light" like this but my plants seem to be doing well so far.

UPDATE 23 Aug 2023: The seller is offering a full refund, but still lists the item as 450W vs. the actual 142W usage.I suspected this might be a typical "black box" Chinese LED in which the advertised wattage is not the actual wattage at which the LEDs are actually run. It's like saying a car has a V-8, but they disable 5 of the cylinders.I connected the LEDs to a Kill-a-Watt meter to measure the actual wattage. My suspicion was confirmed. It runs at a TOTAL of 142 watts (1.33 amps), not 450 as listed. That's only a THIRD of what they claim. They do this because they'd quickly burn the LEDs out if driven at the advertised power. Even at 142 watts, it runs at 152 degrees F. Might it be a fire hazard if operated at 450 watts?

This light is super legit. I like the stand on the back and it is is so light weight. The way it’s designed allows the light to reach my plants at table height under table height and my hanging baskets. I’m learning how far away it needs to be to make sure my plants don’t get too much light. The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t have a dimmer just an on and off switch. One day I’ll try to hang it directly over a bunch of plants and I imagine it will look pretty cool. It did come with the materials needed for this.

Gives off a ton of light. Works well!
