We bought these lights in an effort to spruce up our back patio area, which was formerly very dark after sundown. We hung them from the frame of our deck, charged them according to the package instructions, then placed the solar panel in a spot that would get adequate sun. They work beautifully and give off quite a bit of light. They are not too bright, but also provide enough light that we can see to walk up the deck stairs and get safely in or out. We have only had them for about a month or so, but so far we are very satisfied. Please note, the bulbs are plastic, not glass, which we actually like better.

Used these lights in my backyard and strung them between trees around a fire pit. They work great! There is a switch on the back if you don’t want the lights to automatically come on every night but I didn’t see a remote control. They are super easy to install and the solar panel only gets a couple hours of direct sunlight every day and the lights still shine brightly every night!

The solar panel is big enough to store solar energy that last from dusk to dawn. The 1 watt LED lights can provide enough illumination because they are only 1 foot apart. I put it on the sun umbrella and they look great at night.

They worked one season - this year they did not work. We left them plugged in (USB) 24 hours, left solar panel in the sun for 10 hours .... still didn't work.

These are perfect! They work great and give off a very warm lighting. They charge really easy and hanging them was easy too, the solar panel charged well also.Edit: after over a year and a few Florida hurricaines, they're still holding tight on my porch

These lights are great! Plenty of light for evenings on the patio without having to use any other lights! Love the plastic bulbs, they get knocked against the fence in bad storms and don't break! The solar panel is perfect, it sits in a flower pot and gets plenty of sun. It comes on at dusk and goes off at sunrise unless you turn it off manually, which is easy. Will definitely buy these for future patio use!

These lights are way brighter and better made than the ones I have been using for the last 6 months. I’m pleased with them as I wanted something to illuminate the deck without running a power line from indoors. Battery life is good too. Would recommend.

The lights do the job and look great. However they only turn on when it is just dark enough outside, which can be frustrating when you enjoy them on as the sun is going down. You cannot attach additional strings therefore these work best in a small area.
