Wonderful product. My 4 year old loves to swim with it on. It is not a floaty or safety device, but it also does not hinder or effect his swimming negatively.

My kids LOVE to swim in fact I call them little fishes and they are self taught. My son is 7 and can swim just fine over and under water. My 5 year old can swim just fine under water but I needed her to learn to swim over the water and be confident at that. So I though this would be perfect and fun for her. When it arrived. we quickly inflated it and took her to the pool. She loved it and it made her excited to try to do it on her own over the water. It was easy to put to on her and easy to inflate as well. So it is getting hot out and Summer vacation is almost upon us so I am going to be questioned everyday by my kids to get in the pool. We got this with our son in mind. He likes anything fish related so the thought of having a shark fin he was very excited. As soon as we got it he wanted it on immediately. We put it on and he ran around the house yelling "Shark". We tried it out in the pool this weekend and it worked great. It gave that extra excitement to the fun in the pool. I received this item at a discount for my review.

I haven't had a chance to use this yet. My son has a bit of a belly so the straps don't fit well. They really cut into him. I'm hoping to be able to adjust it in some way, maybe add to the strap length in some way so he can use it. It's got two straps to connect, one much longer than the other, but you have to fold over the longer strap so it just isn't long enough for him. Nothing against the product. It's made well and my son really wants to use it. He can't wait to "scare" people at the pool. I highly recommend it for small children. I can't say if it works well to keep them afloat, but it's really cute and my son wants to wear it. Hopefully I'll get something figured out soon.
