We used our gate with the wood stairs so we didn't actually need to use these.. But they are fine for their intended purpose. I wish the set would have come with four of the same size. I prefer symmetry. That's the only reason I rated this only 4 stars.

These work significantly better than just using the little pressure mounts that come with a baby gate. I bought these specifically because it had top and bottom ones. The smaller ones go on the bottom. Our gate is so much tighter now in the doorway. We have one extension piece in it, so it's a pretty wide doorway and it had a little flex in the gate because it was so wide. We'd have to take it out and adjust and re-tighten everything every month or so. Now that thing is solidly in the doorway. It doesn't budge. I feel a lot better about my 90 lb dog bounding through the gate and also if my toddler decides to lean on it, it's not going anywhere.

These are working great and are a perfect color match to the gate I purchased.

I bought these to use in conjunction with the Summer Infant Modern Home Baby Gate, & I chose these specifically due to their color (most of the wall savers on Amazon are white). The color matches really well, and they fit the tension endcaps of the gate perfectly. Because of the placement of the gate in my home I only need to use 1 of the 4 included pieces (the rest of the endcaps hit on the hardwood of the banister and trim of our staircase), but I still think there is great value in not having to worry about dented drywall. Very simple product but does the job well.

If you have a baby gate you will want these. They protect your walls. The gates have a lot of tension.I bought these for myself but ended up not needing them. However, my daughter did. So I gave her mine. The tension rods on her gates went right thru the sheet rock. These wall mounts are covering the holes & allowing the gate to stay in use. Also, the hole in the sheetrock is not getting any bigger.

I bought this as Amazon website said it was frequently purchased with the Summer Infant Multi-Use Extra Tall Walk-Thru Gate but these wall mounts are not compatible with this gate.

Used these on a baby gate. The smaller size fit perfectly on my baseboards, just above the quarter round (or shoe molding). The larger ones on the wall above spanned the wall edge opening perfectly. These 2 different sizes worked perfectly for what I needed and so much better than pealing paint or putting depressions in my walls.
