Great for gas powered 12V golf cart.
The diagram was simply to understand and the switch works great on our 1993 E-ZGo Marathon 12V Gas Golf Cart. You will need to buy a blinker relay with this switch.

BIG, but it works. Turn indicators need diodes
I put this on my Polaris Ranger to add turn signal functionality. Although this was much bigger than I was expecting, it fit on the Ranger fine. Instructions amount to a wiring diagram. Pretty easy to follow EXCEPT the LEDs don't work as shown (at least not with the CF13 relay that was recommended to go with it). For the Relay, the Battery goes to the B+ terminal, Ground (not the blue wire) goes to the E- terminal, and the black lead from the switch goes to the L terminal. If you want the turn indicators on the switch to work, you need to connect the blue wire to two diodes. Twist the ends of both diodes on the end with the silver bar on it together and connect the blue wire to these wires. Connect one diode to either front or back Left turn light wire and the other diode to a Right turn light wire. This would have been really easy for the manufacturer to do internally. Perhaps there is another relay that would have worked.

It's made of cheap plastic
Installed this unit on a 47 Willys CJ2AEasy install, worked perfectly. Was doing more wiring under the dash and I bumped it while it was mounted on the steering column.I didn't hit it very hard, but it snapped off at the groove where the hose clamp was holding it. Not I need to either replace it or McGuyver a fix. Doubtful that a simple repair with super glue will hold

It works but it's flimsy and the lever flops around
From the very beginning, the body of the unit would flex when moving the lever during normal use. The side of the case would noticeably flex outward. It was cheap though and it worked, at least until summer arrived and the internal detent (the part that holds the lever in each of its 3 positions) failed, likely due to the heat of summer melting some crappy plastic part inside. Still works, but now the lever flops around and will fall down while driving, engaging the left turn signal. If that's an inconvenience you'd tolerate, buy one. Otherwise, get a real SigFlare 900, the quality unit that this is a clone of.

I easily fixed this by inserting a strip of 1/8" rubber ...
I installed this on my dune buggy build and it worked well. One thing to note if you buy this: no matter how much I tightened the hose clamp down on the steering column the turn signal was always loose. I easily fixed this by inserting a strip of 1/8" rubber between the clamp and the steering column
