While I don't change air brushes one the fly for multiple projects, I found the quick disconnects handy in my scale modelling painting sessions for 1/35th scale armor. I use a Badger Krome, Badger Patriot, Patriot Arrow, and Anthem 155 in my hobby. Each has a quick disconnect to prevent cross threading and wear and tear on the tiny threads on the air compressor house connector and air valve each paint session would inflict. The connection is solid, positive, and quckly disconnects. : ) Makes you feel like a pro. Excellent product.

It took a fair amount of searching to figure out what connectors I needed to make a quick-disconnect for my Badger 360 airbrush and Paasche D3000 air compressor. This (and the companion Badger Air-Brush Co. 51-042 QD Coupler,Brass) worked perfectly.

This Badge™ brand adapter threads onto the airbrush valve assembly easily and connects to an Iwata™ quick connect fitting. The only reservation I have is the gasket is cork as opposed to rubber or fiber used in Iwata™ quick connect adapters. I don't plan on unscrewing it except for a deep cleaning of the airbrush valve assembly so it should last.

I have four airbrushes that I use on and off. This makes switching out very easy. Note that you need a quick disconnect female piece to use this as this is only the male connection that fits on your airbrush. The female connection fits on the air hose. Seems the male and female ends are standard fittings between brands from everything I can tell. Make sure your female piece fits your hose brand/size and your male piece fits your airbrush brand. No leaks, well machined.
