Miss Brain's Cool Math Games: For Kids In Grades 3-5 - Revised Edition

I recently discovered Kelli Pearson's Artful Math website and program. I purchased these books because I don't know the first thing about math and if I'm going to be teaching my kinder and fourth-grader how to math, I need to find a fun way to do it. These games are a great way to accomplish that. Both girls ask to play "brain games" every night before bed -- not just when we're schooling during the day. And honestly, I'm having fun playing too.Since schools in my area will be closed for some time, I've also purchased Kelli's homeschool math curriculum because it's easier for me to understand than what the teachers are providing, even though they cover the same concepts and meet the same standards.If you're looking to make learning, fun, I highly encourage you to to pick up copies of Miss Brain's Cool Math Games.

Fun games, easy to use, convertible to many ages and abilities. This is one of the few books I use EVERY week as I tutor students struggling in math (grades 1-6).

I would recommend this book for intermediate and middle school math teachers, especialy those working with at-risk students. The game directions are clearly written and the games themselves are original. I can't wait for Level 3!!
