My RideShare Driver Charger
Yes, I have moonlighted as a rideshare driver and I cannot begin to describe how many mobile accessories are required. This is a great addition to my collection. Here is what I like about this holder: it is compact and fits nice on the air vent without blocking too much of the flow of the air conditioning. The other benefit is the wireless change that eliminates cords and for me this equals safety. The cords seemed to get in the way and when you are driving it is one less thing to have to worry about. The charge so far has been powerful enough to keep the battery powered while in driver mode with rideshare. As fellow rideshare drivers can attest- with the navigation running it drains the battery. This will keep it at least even. One thing to be aware of is the magnets that keep the phone clasped to the base is strong but not strong enough for some thicker cases. I had to get a thin case so the magnets could stick and hold the phone. But overall I like the charger and it has come in good use.

Love having an inconspicuous mount and no wires to mess with.
When paired with a solid, strong USB power source, this is a great phone mount. I love the ease of setting your phone against it, but you do have to pay attention to get it properly centered on your charging coil in your phone. It's great that I can easily see the screen without having to fumble to pick up my phone. When I do decide to pick up the phone, grabbing it from the magnetic mount is effortless. If you're running power-hungry navigation apps on your phone, the charger can struggle to keep up if you're not using a good USB source, good cable, or if you simply didn't center the phone on the charging coil. I use an Anker usb charger, Anker USB cables, and have developed a method to ensure my phone (Samsung s6) gets centered on the coil, and don't have problems with the charging. However, it's never a fast charge. I use it for trips where charging speed isn't a requirement. I also keep a 2nd USB cable for passengers/kids or if I need to charge up more quickly.PROS:- Quick, easy placing of phone onto mount- Holds the phone solid (when using the included metal ring)- Is very inconspicuous with or without the phone mounted.- Lets you see your phone easily- Keeps your phone charged without messing with cables.CONS:- The magnetic ring only makes it stick, but doesn't help you properly center your phone. You have to learn to consistently place the phone centered.- Mediocre charging speed. This seems to be more of a limitation of the Qi standard. Using a good power source and USB cord helps this.

Great!
The way my van is shaped, the charging cord is too short to reach the vent for a cell holder so it's either charge it or have it where I can view the maps. I like this charger for two reasons: it has an option to put it in the air vents or it comes with a sticky base to attach it to the dashboard and it tilts. I don't like putting them in the vent because they rarely tilt but this one actually does. In addition to holding my phone so I can see it when I drive (I use maps a lot), it's also charging.I also like that the magnet is a large ring. It has an adhesive side but I won't bother with that, I just put it between the case and the phone and it works perfectly. This is just what I've been looking for.

NOT Qi Certified - May damage your phone!
This product is NOT Qi certified and is merely "Qi Compatible." This means it has NOT been tested and approved by the Wireless Power Consortium and is unsafe to use. This product does not appear in the Qi certified products database found on the Wireless Power Consortium website, nor was the seller able to present proof of Qi certification upon request.Despite the lack of proper certification, I have given this product a try. Within 15 minutes of use, the battery percentage did not go up a single percent. Furthermore, both the phone and the charger became very hot. Any further use could have overheated the phone, causing damage. Additionally, the magnet is not enough to hold up the device and the supplementary metal ring must be used, which attaches to the phone or case via a peel-off adhesive back.

Works well for my IPhone 6S with a Mophie
This works well charging my IPhone 6S? How? Well, I have a Mophie Wireless Charging case. Previously I had been using Mophie’s excellent magnetic vent mount. I just slapped my phone on the mount when I got in the car and it charged the whole way. No plugging/unplugging. Unfortunately, my new Audi’s vents won’t accept Mophie’s mounts. So... I got a ProClip mount (you can Google the ProClip site — they have a clip for every type of car). Then this magnetic wireless charging mount attaches to that clip.

Does Not Stick to magnet
What a worthless product! My phone constantly falls off of the magnet - especially when I hit a pothole, which is often since I drive in Minnesota! It was more dangerous then not using it and looking down at my phone when using GPS.The magnet was attached to the soft phone cover that is covered by a hard cover. I was able to feel when the magnet connected, it just didn't hold.Very disappointed.

Magnets work great with my case/phone
I tried several chargers before I found this one. The magnets work much better than any other charger I tried. The clamp holds the vent very well. From time to time I will hit a hard bump and it will dislodge the clamp a bit but it has never fallen and it is easy to adjust. One tiny complaint is the rubber backing next to the clamp has come off (from heat I suppose) but it didn't seem to have a function other than potentially protecting the vent so no big deal.I found a silicone case with a built in ring and it has worked great with the charger.
