I’ve been using this for about 3 years to mulch around my plants. It looks good and slowly improves the soil. I leave my dahlias in situ over winter with a thick layer of Strulch, they usually survive the winter.

This is a brilliant garden mulch and is great at preventing slug damage. My hostas look wonderful this year as it has kept the slugs away.

I've been using this mulch for a couple of years on my cottage garden. It is very good at detering slugs (although this year has been a challenge I wong lie 😂)..and is brilliant at keeping soil from drying out. I have found that my soil (chalky and dries out quickly) structure has greatly improved and there are many more worms now.It also goes a long way. I also use it in potted plants . This supplier always seems to sell at a good price too .I recommend you give it a try .

Not big odour,looks as though it should insulate well.Won't know till spring?

This is my first time using mulch. I bought it for some laurel shrubs i planted in the front garden. However I also used it in the back garden borders to reduce flooding from surface water on clay soil. It has helped reduce levels of water quite a lot. Need some more to finish the job until garden is redesigned with better drainage.

Really does the job NO SLUGS OR SNAILS have come near my Lupins etc only downside I would say is that it doesn't look as appealing as other composts, as it's mainly chopped up straw, but who cares if it keeps the slugs and snails away. Thank you - Sandra
