They are nice an do the job, I got them for light punch practice for a beginner, I don't know how well they would do for hard hitting but they seem OKThe pads are very lightweight compared to the ones at the kick boxing club.

Use this as a kick & punch bag for a 7 year old girl who is learning karate. She loves it and my husband who has done karate for over 30 years says the punch bag is a good one.It is well made and has a good handle to grip it by. Definitely worth the price.
