Sturdy and useful!
These measuring cups are well worth the price. I held off for a long time because I thought they were expensive. But I finally got frustrated with my round measuring cups not fitting into the containers of ingredients I bake with frequently. The oval shape make them ideal for dipping into jars and cocoa containers. The solid, heavy metal construction makes them ideal for scooping out thicker ingredients, like nut butters, without the handles bending or breaking off. Solid, great design and well made. A fantastic addition to my larder.

Excellent, but not as strong as earlier set
I have had a set of these for at least five years, and bought these as a gift for someone who lusts shamelessly after mine. These are great, but my old set is much heavier. The walls of these cups are much thinner. I weighed the two sets and found that my old ones weigh 23 ounces (about 660 grams) and the new set weighs 16 ounces (about 450 grams). The old set is clearly stamped 18/10 Stainless Steel and the new ones say only, Stainless Steel. The 18/10 stainless is 18% chromium and 10% nickel, so probably looks better and probably will hold up better than the new ones that may or may not have any nickel content. But that whole technical discussion is really beyond my skill level - just wanted to mention the difference and maybe let the manufacturer know their degradation in quality is noted.That said, I think these are still excellent, the shape is really a pleasure to use and they are good quality stainless steel that should hold up nicely. If my old set ever breaks (probably not -- they don't bend, they don't scratch, they look like new after five+ years) I will buy this set to replace the set.
