Great product, great service, go for it.
Amazing product! Do not think for a moment that this is a luxury and you might do with out it.No, actually is a necessity.I bought the original bodylastics MMA set years ago, and I never used it 100% because I always thought that these were my good, expensive bands and I should not treat them rough. Before I was ready to begin any exercise I always thought something like "I should probably not step on them with that shoes", "Maybe I should not put them around that object" , "I will use the cheap, lousy bands , let's just not do that with the bodylastics" and the like. The moment I got it I realized how my band training will change. The quality is amazing , like you would expected from any bodylastics product. The material is top-notch,the construction is perfect, it just feels and looks very well-made and professional. It is also quite wide and this helps tremendously because it allows you to change the tension of the exercise by stepping on the band on different widths. When I first opened the package, I immediately placed a red band inside and just got an amazing pump from doing a fast set of side laterals and then "drop setting" by placing my feet gradually closer together, allowing more band to be released by the sides of the sleeve.I saw some cheaper counterfeit versions in e-bay that were much thinner than the original. Do not go for the counterfeit crap by unknown chinese companies, invest some more bucks and just get the original by a well-established brand like bodylastics.Furthermore, you can use it around poles without needing the anchor. This is very valuable when you work in tight spaces and you want to avoid the extra length that the anchor adds to the whole pulling/pushing line.I have not tried it yet, but I am sure I could place the sleeve around the ends of a barbell or waist like a dip belt to increase tension in some free weight/bodyweight exercises.Honestly, it allows you to really push yourself when training with bands. Do not think that band training is only for sickly pops and soccer moms pretending that they work out by doing silly exercises in their living room on a bosu. I also train with free weights (only) , doing deads, squats, weighted dips and chins yet I found irreplaceable value in doing band exercises. Just follow the same principles as you do with weights: chase PRs, add a thicker band, stand further away, add some more reps....Shipping was very fast. It arrived in Greece from the U.K in less than two days, much sooner than expected.Great product, great service, go for it.

Really helps
I was sceptical about this but finally splashed out on a couple and basically it's made using the Bodylastics bands a LOT better. How so?Any exercises that required you to step on the bands are a lot less wearing on the bands themselves if you wear trainers, or more comfortable for your feet if you don't.Similarly, if you cradle the bands around your back or neck for extensions, presses etc. the rubber of the bands won't drag against your skin.It is a bit of a faff getting the bands into the tubes (which split along the length, held together with Velcro type material) but if you're in the habit of using several bands at once up until you drop a band so you can squeeze out a few more reps, then it's quite handy for keeping them altogether. That's the main reason I bought a couple - I already have a couple of sets worth of bands (irritatingly not identical as Bodylastics must have changed the design in the last few years) so now I have two "bundles" - one mainly for heavier exercises and one for lighter. In general the bands are pretty unobtrusive so it works out okay for me.If you've been on the fence, hopefully this has been enough to push you over. It's still quite a lot of money for what it is, but worth it in the long run.

Great quality at a fair price
Previously, I was folding a piece of foam over the bands, but the foam fell apart after a while. Then I used a small hand told. That slipped around on the floor a lot. Finally decided to spend a few quid and buy the official band protector. I had hesitated because it seems expensive for what it was. However, when it arrived I realised I was wrong. It is really well made - a high quality products. Now that I have it in my hands, it is clear this is not overpriced at all. A fair price for a good quality bit of kit. I should have bought it months ago.

Good piece of kit
Going to start Tapout XT this should protect my bands...(you are never quite sure if treading on the bands will damage them)However, if you are "new" to resistance band training, I have noticed that one "bundle" has one of these on it,so (as always) check for the bundle that best suits your needs!(I bought my bands before realising that they made these)

Handy for protecting your bands.
I imagine I could have made something like this, but I can't be bothered and I'm crap at sewing. £10 is a bit steep for what the product is, but it's definitely going to give some protection to my resistance bands. I'd definitely be worried about them getting worn down if I didn't have this, so it's good to have just for peace of mind. It's simple and easy to fit to the bands and feels sturdy, and that's exactly what it promises to be.

The resistance band protector does just that offering great protection and is lightweight and easy to store
I purchased the bodylastic bands and realised quite quickly that I would shorten the life of the bands unless protected. The resistance band protector does just that offering great protection and is lightweight and easy to store.A must if you are using resistance bands

Does what it says on the tin
Not cheap for what it is but it did its job well. If you have no smooth poles to use your bands on and only have access to rough sharp edges then it's worth the purchase.
