This product is really awesome and works very well-- but they DO NOT make clear that it has a thin plastic film that needs to come off first for you to use it. I had to come here to check the reviews to realize this. So if you are reading reviews saying that it's difficult to clean, it's only b/c there's a film on it. Otherwise it's a great product, highly recommended!

The media could not be loaded. Just received this desktop organizer box. On first sight the white board looked cheap and scratchy, literally took me a while to realize I needed to remove the plastic covering. Once it was removed, the surface looked clean and smooth. I like the fact that I can place my tablet or phone while watching videos and take notes at the same time. I even use it in my kitchen to follow cooking videos, while cooking. So far it’s a great and functional purchase and I’m quite pleased with it.

At first I was disappointed because it was smeering instead of erasing and looked like small scratches were on the white board. Took me a minute until I realized there was a film on top for protection. It worked much better once the film came off! I like the bamboo look and it's the right size for me and is about the size of my keyboard.

Great quality but mine is not sturdy. It wobbles and I can't get it to stop but other than that, it's great!

It takes some sort of cleaner and lots of elbow grease to erase.

I ordered this for my home office. Overall, not overly impressed. The only positive thing I can say is that it looks exactly as it's shown. I was disappointed to find that it did not clean easily. I used the dry erase markers it comes with along with a different brand I had laying around the house. Even after writing on it and immediately wiping it off, you could still see a faint outline of each word. Obviously leaving a few notes on there over several days did not come off at all. This product does not come with a cleaning spray and maybe it should if it's going to be this difficult to wipe clean. Save your money and purchase an acrylic dry erase board for the wall or something different to take notes.

I loved the pictures of the product, but they do not do justice. One thing when I first opened this desk whiteboard, I thought the whiteboard piece was marked/damaged because it was dingy and had these burnt looking marks. Well, it took a minute but I realized it had a lining you have to take off. That’s one thing I would indicate on the instructions so that other customers do not panic if it looks damage. Over all, it’s the perfect desk whiteboard with storage space.

I'm a doodler while on the phone. Writing down bits of information, but not always really needing it. Can just erase out anything not needed. Then type in actual information on the computer when call is over. Love that! I've stopped wasting paper! Great purchase!!

I bought this product so I could have a small whiteboard to jot my thoughts on (with bonus storage). Yesterday I wrote on the whiteboard using dry erase markers. Today I tried to erase what I had written. Erasers x 2 had no effect. A rag with water got some of the printing off. Using whiteboard cleaner did a little better. Nothing with shift the writing. Use this as a storage system, but if you want the whiteboard, you will be sadly disappointed. Mine is going back for a return.

Purchased for family member for xmas for home office. I purchased additional pens to be used on it (the liquid chalk ones, also purchased from amazon work great).Lots of storage (more than you'd think) and easy to wipe off with the little brush that comes with it.Great gift idea for anyone who takes little notes while working from home
