I wish I could give 3.5 stars.Pros1) Easy to use (sort of... More about that in the cons)2) Does exactly what it says it does.3) May actually be helping me wake up?Cons1) The light is super bright when it first comes on for the "sunrise". I basically wake up as soon as it comes on because it lights up the room that much. Not gradual enough for my liking.2) The alarm button (all the touch screen buttons, really) is nearly impossible to use unless you're holding the device face up. No prob now that I've figured that out but was super frustrating at first.3) Minor annoyance but the alarm sounds are subpar quality and they are really short. Like the ocean wave option has the sound of ONE wave before it restarts in a very awkward fashion.

I guess I should have spent the extra for the name brand one.Wanted to start leaving my phone away from the bed to resist the urge to look at it at night. I used the sunset feature of this clock and loved it. It definitely helped me wind down and get right to sleep.However the sunrise feature did not ramp up the light the same way. It just came on super bright, 30 minutes before my wake up time. Shining right into my face.Wish I could have used this. Ended up returning it.

It's a good alarm clock. I thought it would be more like blinding sunlight shining straight into my face, but so far, I have not slept through the alarm. I have it set to the annoying bird sound and it is REALLY annoying. My granddaughter loves to watch the colorful light setting. It's hard to give an alarm clock 5 stars because alarm clocks represent the fact that you aren't getting enough sleep. Nonetheless, I am glad I made this purchase. p.s. it's not that hard to program.

I am not a morning person, but this alarm clock helps to make mornings less painful. I have been using a Phillips brand wake-up light alarm clock, which cost me $80 years ago. I bought this one for traveling and for use in my guest bedroom. For less than half the cost of the Phillips brand, this alarm clock has so many more features (different color light choices, sunset mode, smaller footprint, modern/classy design, etc.) and it is just as effective. This alarm clock would also make a great gift for other friends who also hate mornings.

The only cool thing is the light, the songs will make your cats go retarded the first time because they don't understand what the sound is or where it I coming from. The songs are about the same quality as an atari song but not nearly as cool. Wish I got the other one but wanted to save a few bucks and figures because the idiot masses bought a zillion of hem and rated it so well that it would be great.

Really does the job. It would be nice if you had the option to have alarm only without the gradual light wake up on nights where I didn't sleep well and want to sleep til the last possible second. The sounds are kind of cheapy but you get what you pay for. I feel this was worth what I paid for it. It does what it says it does.

Works better than I Thought! I set the sound on just in case, but most times I wake before the sound goes off. I've woken up with the sound a few times, but that was when I had my face buried in the pillow. The only think I would say. The sounds are terrible. I think they were going for soothing but it's mostly shrill.

This is an attractive alarm clock and I was excited to receive it, but I cannot make it work properly. I wish the instructions were more clear. Every time I attempt to use the sunset feature at night, the alarm gets shut off. Sometimes the alarm just doesn't work at all.
