Happy with the purchase. Wanted long ones that would grip my money plant properly. These should do the job.

In principle these are a great product; unfortunately every single pin has a little bend on the point of one of the tines. It's the same tine on each piece so I'm assuming this is from whatever machine cuts them, but it means they're almost impossible to use, as the bend keeps getting snagged in the fibres of the pole.I'm using a coir pole, which is quite dense, so you may have better luck with a moss one, but I have found myself unable to use these at all on my pole. The other tine slides in without issue, so if they'd been cut with more care they'd be a great little product but, as they are, they are useless to me.

So happy I found these so much better than tying up!

Excellent item for the indoor plants that require being held to their 'staging post'. Although the 'pointy end' is sharpish (please be aware) a 'steepish' angle is generally required when applying although this could depend on the thickness of the moss sleeve in use at the time. Our first change of poles entailed a reduction in length of the incoming one (we'd not paid enough attention to what was available in the various lengths of poles) and rather than lose the moss binding I twisted the sleeve of same along the central pole until the desired length was obtained and with junior hacksaw in hand reduced the shaft accordingly not realising just how impenetrable a thicker base of moss was going to be thereby making a somewhat denser base for the pin to penetrate - hence my discovery of the 'steepish' angle ! Still, I learnt my lesson and will apply accordingly to the next time.

So pleased I found this product.It answered lots of problems that I’ve had but didn’t ever think there would be a product available.I have used this for pinning down various stems for layering and that has been very successful. Many uses including keeping house plants anchored
