Audiobooks (mono files) only play through one ear while using bluetooth
This is a rebranded ruizu x06 player. A decent little MP3 player with a few serious problems. There is a very annoying bug with this device. Using wired headphones the player sends mono files to both ears but using ANY bluetooth headphones will result in the file only playing through one ear (the left channel). It's an okay piece of kit for the money but I can't use it for audiobooks sadly. The user interface is rather odd and frankly not intuitive at all. But the fact that many mp3 files only play through one ear? That's just not good enough. I've tried many headphones and I have bought 2 of these pieces of kit. So it's a bug. If you don't mind listening to one ear only - then by all means buy it! I'm fed up using it

Nice Player
Descent little player for the price, super light, great for me as I wear it on a lanyard, volume is nice and loud ,infact louder than my old Ipod, wouldnt say the music quality is on a par with Ipod but again look at the price,I use drag and drop for installing files, its dead simple, and Im glad Im not using Itunes anymore If Im honest, this is simple as it gets for loading tunes, never had any success loading films but thats not an issue for me,pics look very pixellated too, battery life is superb and beats Ipod by a mile, if you want a basic mp3 for on the go,gym, gardening, cycling, skateboarding whatever that you wont even know your wearing then its a good choice, its peanut money really,im happy with it

Very basic, you're better off with something else
Had it for 2 months now and its very frustrating to use. for example:-If you add an album of 10 tracks, number 10 will come after number 1-i tried to add a 1,000+ track playlist to get round this and only 800 tracks appeared on it once synced with no explanation-thinking 800 was the maximum i added two play lists of less. the 700 track part only had 550, and the 350 track part only had 250. again no explanation-the menu screens are not logical, you cant go back or forth with ease- there is no hold button although that was advertised.-Very poor radioI suggest you try somewhere else because this just isnt worth the hassle and there are plenty of others at this price range though no doubt with similar issues.

A massive little monster
Dislikes...Hmmm it's not as loud as i would like. That's it. It's great. It has all the functions they say it does. They all work too. For me someone whom has had mp3s since the 90s and they aren't id tagged, the browse by folder AND play what's in there is just perfect. I've never had it before and it makes this little monster.. massive. Can't comment on the charge time yet but seems to last for ages. Honestly I see why when I ordered it only had 4 and 5 star ratings

easy to use
A neat unit with easy to follow instructions for how to load music etc and easily navigated once you are ready to listen to the music. Sound quality is good too, the earphones are comfortable for the price although I use my Bose in ear buds with it.

Great looking but interface a little clunky
Overall pleased with this. MP3 is great looking and supports lots of formats. However interface is a little clunky, having no dedicated volume controls (you have to hold a button down for a few seconds to get to volume) is not ideal.

Issues with Bluetooth
Unfortunately, didn't work well with bluetooth. Some formats (wma, wav) didn't play the first few seconds of the song, however MP3 format was fine. Good sound quality through headphones though. Had to send it back as I use bluetooth a lot. Received a full refund.

Simple to use
Wanted something to aid language learning. This seemed to fulfill my requirements. Out of the box it worked. Another user said in their review you were able to just move files over from computer onto the device. Can confirm this, which was appealling as I don't want to download extra rubbish to use everything. Battery seems solid. Overall think it's good value for the price it is. Recommended.
