Perfect sizing and quality material.
This bit worked great. I used it in a mag drill and it quickly cut through a half inch piece of steel. Great value for the price.

Works great in Steel
This worked great in my Bridgeport mill to cut 3" holes in 1/2" cold roll plate. Saves a ton of time over using a boring tool. Tool is sharp and cuts pretty fast with coolant. I am sold on these annular cutters and bought the whole family of larger sizes, use them in the Mill and the lathe.

GREAT VALUE!! Revised Review
I needed a bit to cut ten 2" holes in 1/4" steel for a project. I knew this was cheap and wouldn't last long but I thought it could cut at least 10 holes. ZERO!!! Yes, that's right: ZERO! This bit was unable to cut into steel at all. I put enough pressure on the bit to almost stop my mag drill and all this bit could do was to scratch at the surface. I used lots of cutting paste and tried over and over to no avail. DO NOT PURCHASE: TOTAL SCAM!!! FURIOUS!!!Replacement arrived the next day. It was able to cut 10 holes. First bit must have been a dud. $30 amazon bit vs. $275 bit from local store = DAMN GOOD VALUE!!! Cant give 5 stars since the quality control issue with first bit slowed me down.

Annular cutters are life changing
They cut like you think a heavy duty cutter should. Don't waste time or money with hd carbide hole saws.

and it worked great. Good value for the money
Cuts fast and accurate. I did a couple of overlapping holes, and the tool didn't walk at all. I chucked it as received in a 3/4 " collet, and it worked great. Good value for the money.

Good quality
I have drilled (16) 1.500” holes thru 1.000” plate and the bit is still as sharp as when I started. Use good cutting fluid and keep the bit cool! Works perfect!
