They are typical micro fiber. Didn't feel the need to spend a fortune on a gym towel. You do need to pat dry instead of rubbing. think some of my older ones (different brand) are better for rubbing, but they were expensive.

Bought this quick-drying towel to take on a camping trip -- it works fantastic. Very absorbent! I found that it works best if you pat yourself dry. To dry, I hung the towel over a clothesline and it was dry by evening. I bought the large 30x60 size which came with a smaller 12x24 towel -- it was nice to be able to wrap a towel around my waist, but I could have easily dried myself using the small towel.I saw some reviews about the colored ones needing to be washed first to avoid colors bleeding, but I bought the light grey one and did not notice any color bleed.Love it, and would recommend to anyone who is going on a backpacking trip, through-hiking, or traveling abroad.

This is great for traveling or camping. It rolls up easily and can be stored in the little mesh bag. It dries pretty quickly.

I keep these in the car for impromptu swimming adventures, and they come in handy. They dry super quickly in the car. They are so light and take up so little space. I want to buy a set for hubby to take to the gym.

My family has quite a collection of microfiber travel towels. We have been using them for years for travel, camping/canoeing, and the gym. We've been using the Aquis line for many years. They dry quickly and pack small when compared to cotton while having a texture that remains a little like cotton. We also have Aquis brand towels that have held up over ten years. However the newer generation of microfiber towels dry much quicker and pack much smaller than Aquis. Our family now has similar towels from Relefee, Scorched Earth, and BOGI, all purchased in the last six months when on sale at different times. This towel was used on a trip to a Candian lake cabin. The towel was used twice a day for two weeks and has been laundered twice - once before the trip and once after. The fabric is awesome. It was soft and dried my body well. Actually even the small hand towel was adequate for drying my entire body off, but I prefer wrap up in the larger towel. The towel dried amazingly fast. It dried hours before the Aquis towel and would have beat cotton towels by a full day. Unfortunately the stitching around the corners frayed after the first week of use. This is not a deal breaker as I can repair it with my sewing machine, but it shouldn't have happened to a nearly new towel. The Relefee towels are essentially the same, but their rounded corners don't fray. I would still choose this towel over the Scorched Earth ones due to superior fabric. Incidentally, I soaked the towel overnight and then laundered it prior to use like I do all brightly colored linens. The purple did not bleed.

Purchased this for my daughter before she left for Drum Corps over the summer. We wanted something light weight, small in taking up space, and would quickly dry.So far she has been pleased with the product and doing exactly what she needs.

I really liked these towels honestly. I actually heard about them from a friend and he told me it was perfect for my husband and I and that I just HAD to buy it. So I did. As a woman, it’s amazing at drying my hair and it’s so lightweight that I don’t even feel it on my head when I pull my hair up. It’s definitely much longer and wider than my normal towels, but I love that because I never noticed how small my towels were until I tried these haha. Anyways, I’ve never written any reviews before but my husband and I liked the product so much that I decided to write one. I think this product will be a nice change for anyone looking for something that is less damaging for your hair and more convenient to have, especially for people who travel. I genuinely enjoyed the quality of these towels and how they performed. In the end, I would recommend them to anyone.
