Trying to help fetal growth
I just implemented the Prenatal+DHA pills from the same brand yesterday; no bad taste and no sickness. I ordered this protein along with the boobie stores brand; must say, the boobie brand one tastes horrible! This one tasted soooo good; I’ve mixed with eggnog; whole milk so far, would recommend a shaker or something more than stirring to get all clumps out. It tasted amazing so far, I drink 2 cups a day, and will be ordering more for sure! I’ll update as far the fetal growth at my next appointment to see if the protein has improved and baby has improved, but otherwise do recommend it. Also love the background story of the company.****update; since adding in the prenatal and also this protein powder and using the protein twice a day, and vitamins daily, I’m now measuring a week ahead, all labs came back normal and I’m on track with a healthy and happy baby!!

A unicorn for protein
This product is third party tested and contains 20 grams of protein. In addition, you have bovine collagen which has been shown by research to not only support your lactation needs but also aid in fat burning, restore hair loss, and support nail growth. Rarely have I seen a combination of both while also only consisting of 90 calories. The taste and mixing of the product is good in a smoothie. The fact this product is third party tested is a huge plus and seems to be priced right. One thing that has always concerned me is the amount of heavy metals in protein products. Because protein is not regulated by the FDA, companies can have heavy metals in protein such as lead or arsenic. This is a huge concern for health reasons, and especially if you are trying to conceive, are pregnant, or nursing. If you don’t believe me, go on Labdoor’s website, a third party company that tests supplements. You will see the heavy metal constituents of each product, even those graded as an “A”. That is. Anecdotally, I have found that protein products third party tested (such as NSF certified) for heavy metals generally are more expensive (around 50 dollars or so for 20 servings).I have also found that proteins that are cheaper also lack in ingredients. Such as whey protein being the second or third ingredient rather than the first. Or sugar being the second or third ingredient. For that reason, typically these products are high in caloric intake. The product may taste great, but it means it is more processed and consists of ingredients that are counterproductive to weight management goals. That being said, I have found proteins that have desirable healthy ingredient lists generally do not taste super great or do not mix well in a shaker bottle. This is like most foods that are healthy. They don’t taste like cake and maybe that’s for a good reason. If you mix this in a smoothie blender with some frozen strawberries, yogurt, and oats it not only helps with the taste but also supports postpartum recovery as well.

Not the best taste but great customer service
First, I was very excited to order from Pink Stork. I had come across it during my first pregnancy but at the time it was not something I could justify spending $50+ on a product that would only provide 20 servings (container recommends taking 1-2 servings a day) and not last at least half a month. This time I decided to try it….. my package arrived with a broken seal so after a confusing process from Amazon to exchange/refund, I had to call vendor (pink stork) to report. The customer service was average (guessing she was working from home bc there was lots of background noise) and she said she would send a replacement and hung up before taking any of my mailing info, name, email address, etc. Don’t know how they’re sending the replacement without any of that info and having bought it through Amazon. I’ll be calling back today, maybe I’ll have better luck. My husband did try a bit of the protein in water and he almost threw up. He said it tasted worse than regular protein powders that sell for half the price. He said it tasted like chalk and cheap cocoa powder mix (not in a good way). Needless to say, this has been an absolutely disappointing buy, specially with how expensive it is! I was looking forward to trying this product since it’s my second pregnancy and experiencing morning sickness on my last trimester, but I’ll be looking elsewhere for any prenatal/postpartum products.*Edit/update*: called costumer service to get a replacement and after waiting a week, Amazon refunded me the money. A few days later, the replacement protein shake arrived without any issues. I’ve tried it since and it does have a chalk-like after taste. I can’t drink it on its own with water so I mix it in with a smoothie to cover up some of the taste. I might try this product again but I’ll look around to see if they have other flavors because the chocolate one is not great. After everything, I was very impressed with costumer service and how nice everyone was.

Great taste
Great taste! I did a bunch of research on different postpartum proteins and I was extremely happy that I went with this one. The taste is great and the powder mixes fairly easily. Would definitely recommend. I have not seen an increase in my milk supply yet, but if I do I will update.

Changed serving size with no warning!
I got this powder while pregnant due to my LO not gaining weight. It worked great, I got used to the taste (I hate chocolate flavored products), and I had an automatic subscription set up. I specifically loved that you got so much product for a somewhat high price. In comparison to other brands you got a higher protien count and more servings for your money which is how I justified the price. Imagine my surprise when I get my bottle this month and it's only 15 servings, FOR THE SAME PRICE. Now I understand needing to compete in a saturated market but for a brand that weighs and markets so heavily on Christian values I would expect more honesty and transparency. There should have been a message to current subscribed customers about the change. I have lost all trust in this brand and won't be purchasing from them again.

The taste is AMAZINGGGGGG. it tastes like hot chocolate. But I have noticed that I get horrible migraine after taking it. Was only able to take 3 times.
