Easy and time effective
An absolute time saver for sure. The faucet adapter is great I was worried it wouldn't fit my faucet. The plastic is a little cheap and it leaks at the faxuwr very slightly. Just make sir you screw everything nice and tight because the o ring is what's preventing those leaks. It's a bit of a waste of water in order to siphon but I always left my facet running doing water changes anyways just to maintain the correct temperature and now it couldn't be easier. I turn the faucet on to siphon and drain the water, I temp the water before I make sure to fill and when it's the right temperature all I do is turn the valve and it pumps in water just as easy. I'll then take the tube out and siphon whatever is remaining in the hose. Made a little cheap but it beats the leading competition 50 dollars higher so it's to be expected. Saves a ton of time and hassle

Great idea but wastes water
I was so excited to purchase this I thought wow now changing my 35gal tank will be so much easier! And the concept is great.I had to purchase a utility faucet for my bathroom because the connectors none would fit my faucets.I guess it worked OK, I purchased 100ft a maybe I only needed the 50ft.I do recommend watching the guided videos before buying and before connecting. It worked but to drain the hose after was near to impossible (for me maybe I wasn't doing it right)What i didn't like most is whether draining or filling you have to run the water as you do.So a 35 gal tank change turns into a 70gallon water usage at least. Not good.I do my best to preserve our precious commodity.Maybe someone who could use an actual utility sink would have a way to catch the water- but wait- that's the whole purpose of this lively item- to do away with hauling buckets of water!Sigh a lil disappointed to say the least. In the end I sold my full tank and everything including the fishAnd downgraded to a 3 gallon easy water change betta tank.I love it!

Works great for filling water jugs
I am changing my 3 star review to a 5 star only because I found a better use for the hose. It didn't work for my fish tank and made a huge water mess in my house. I tossed it in the garage and didn't think I'd ever use it again. We had a plumbing issue that required us to get our water from a spring on the mountain. We had to fill 5 gallon water jugs and it was time consuming until I remembered the failed fish tank hose. I was able to connect it to a water spout and funnel the spring water to my water containers without taking them out of the truck . It may not have worked for my fish tank but it works great to fill water containers while saving my back from lifting heavy jugs into the truck.

Great buy
This is perfect and for the money you can not beat it. I am using mine for water changes not cleaning the tank. To clean the tank I have a short hose that I use, straight into a 5 gallon bucket. The extension is so long I found it hard to really pick any waste up. Also connects to my sink with no issues. Everything I needed was included!

LEAKING LEAKING EVEN THEY UPGRADED TO METAL CONNECTOR STILL LEAKING
The media could not be loaded. Hey, this exactly the problem this python have, and I got this for 2nd time so I have to do review for future buyer, it is leaking even it is brand new from the box, it leaks at the part where you can not tighten or do anything else, and it is wriggling. How come a water connector can be wiggling. I been using their lighting product but the python, please don’t wait your time. Stupid product they made and they even upgraded to the metal connector but that is not problem.

Tired of carrying buckets of water? Get one of these.
Works perfectly. I didn't bother to try a valve shutoff while pressurized, wasn't necessary. Easy to use. First I connected to bathroom sink after removing the faucet aerator. With the nozzle end in my hand I turned on the water with and felt for the vacuum at the nozzle. Then I walked the hose to the tank and began vacuuming. Once done the device suctioned the hose mostly dry and I turned off the water. To fill I dosed with conditioner for the whole volume of the tank. I kept the valve on suction and felt the water coming out at the bottom to make sure I had the right temperature for the tank, then (while my wife held the discharge nozzle at the tank) slowly turned the valve to send water to the tank. Every so often I turned the valve a little and let it spray out the bottom onto my hand and into the drain to make sure the temp was still correct. Within a few minutes the tank was refilled. No more carrying water buckets!!! This thing works. Simple. Effective. Most complaints I have read are from users who decide to use the valve on the tank side or sink side to shut off flow, pressurizing the system. Unless you have it connected correctly leaks will happen and the hose could blow off the fitting. No need to pressurize it if you have a someone at the tank to tell you exactly when to turn of the faucet. After filling all you have to do is switch the valve back to vacuum and turn on the faucet, roll up the hose as you go and keep it high enough for all the water to be sucked out.Tip: You don't have to fill at full pressure but you do have to vacuum with the faucet on full pressure.

Leaking connections
Nice fitting and materials. Still leaks despite being installed according to directions and tightened all the way.
