Philips Norelco Multigroom All-in-One Trimmer Series 3000 with 13 pieces - No Blade Oil Needed, MG3750/50

I originally bought this for clients at work. (I worked at a nursing/rehab facility) they would come in, need a shave & not have a razor & the ones we provided were one blade & awful! Once I left, I brought it home & it became the dog's razor. I shave my puggle. (Yes.. my luggage. He loves it!) It only came with a few different extensions, and a little cheap bag. The battery lasted quite a while every time id charge it. My fiancée also uses it to shave his back. (Er, technically, I use it). It doesn't require any oil. You can rinse it with water (just make sure you let it fully dry before using again). Anyways.. I'd say it got used at least twice a month between my fiancée & the dog. The dog used the middle size, and no cover at all for my fiancée.After 4 years, its finally died. I'm not sure whats wrong with it. I charge it, and it will turn on and shave & then die randomly & turn back on randomly.I like the fact that I can take the entire head off, and clean inside. I like that I can clean where the actual blade is.Id recommend this, if you're looking for something that's quick, cheap, and effective. If youre looking to shave your head, back, or dog, its amazing. If you are looking to do your nose, and intricate designs, or a few different sizes, id recommend going with something else. The blade is sharp, and never lost its dullness. But, like I said, it only came with a few different sizes.The little carry case is a cheap, pos. Although, I still have mine, fully intact. Its nothing fancy, but if you're on the go, I'd recommend upgrading to your own travel case. If its going to sit in the bag, on a shelf, in your bathroom, it should be fine.Happy shaving! 😊*i just went to Walmart to buy a new one, and they had this exact one for 18$* [I did use this for 4 years!!]

First impression: This is a decent set of clippers for trimming your beard, mustache, sideburns, neck hair, and some body hair should that be necessary for you. Some reviews mentioned the clippers arriving used with hair in the box. I did find this very disgusting but only saw a few reviews that said that and figured I’d roll the dice. Mine arrived and looked brand new. Nicely wrapped, no signs of being used by someone else. I took the blade off and looked at the inner mechanics and there was no sign of hair. There was even a very small dab of lubricant for the moving components which looked new.As for the quality, I didn’t expect top shelf quality spending $20 on these. The unit as a whole is extremely light, and the housing does feel a little on the cheap side. As long as you don’t drop it onto a hard surface you’ll probably be just fine.It was very easy to pop the guards on and off. It was not difficult swapping the main blades, the small blades, and the nose hair attachment. However, you do have to be a little careful when changing those out with one another so you don’t break off the plastic tab/lip used to guide them into place.Although it’s not a functional flaw I don’t like how there is no indicator/light on the unit that lets you know it’s fully charged. You just have to plug in in for awhile and take it off when you think it’s donr charging. The instructions say it charges pretty fast, within a couple hours.On my first use I did find the selection of guards more than sufficient for my beard needs. It cut really well, I was able to even out my beard length, and sharpen the edges pretty easily. You do have to be a little careful when using the clippers without any guards, it can nip at the skin if you aren’t paying attention, but it didn’t cut me or even leave any marks. That being said, I would not use this on any private areas unless you use at least the smallest guard to prevent snagging loose skin in the teeth of the clippers.I didn’t expect a high end carry case for storage or travel but the storage bag that can with this set is pretty pathetic. I feel like it will tear real soon and it uses a slide ziplock like closure that will likely fall off soon.Overall, I like this grooming set. It does a great job for its price point. If you aren’t careless with these and clean the hair out of them and keep the blades oiled (oil not included) then you should get your money’s worth. I will continue to see how these hold up over time and update this review as needed should things change.

8 years in, going strong. Works as well as day 1. I use this for beard and fades.

I tried a $30 trimmer previously, with all kinds of attachments, and adjustable guards and combs, and I have to say there is something to be said for simplicity! No frills, bells, or whistles - came with exactly what I needed - simple brown cardboard packaging, simple instructions, an assortment of guards, and some extra heads for detail and ear/nose trimming. The guard combs are comfortable, and unlike the more expensive razor I tried before, trims smoothly without pulling hair. The blade cuts well, and quickly trimmed down my beard, which had gotten longer than I realized. It doesn't bog down or jam with thick hair, and trims very well. I also was able to edge, and clean up my neck without any trouble. I like that this unit does not come with a big gaudy holder which only takes up shelf space. I only ever use 1 or 2 accessories anyhow, so the ones I don't use as much I can leave in the included pouch and put them away, dust free (can't say the same for a caddy that just takes valuable shelf space and only collects dust and grime!). Anyway, this trimmer works great for me, and was a good value! I didn't get a chance to use it long enough to rate the battery life, but I expect it will be just fine.Edit: I've been using this a while now and it rarely needs charging. Battery lasts a good long while and I am very happy with it so far!

Very easy to clean and change heads, quality product!

It was nice while it lasted but the motor must’ve burnt out after a year.
