I purchased this mask at the recommendation of a friend. I recently had a facelift. My face will be swollen for several months and the more I get back into the swing of things, the more tired, swollen, hot and uncomfortable I feel. The amount of evenly distributed cooling this product gives provides immediate relief and a sense of calm. I can see why this would be helpful for people with migraines.Some have commented on the size and how it fits. I have the extra large. I’m a 39 year old female, 5’7. That doesn’t tell you anything about the size of my face, but I imagine sizing a face mask perfectly to every face / Head shape would be difficult. This is certainly larger than my face, but I think that helps to provide more coverage. I lay on my bed when I use it and I also use an ice pack for my neck which helps prop the face mask up in the right places for me. It molds very well to your face, it just takes a little adjusting to get it where you need it. If you want a mask to walk around in, then yes, size may be an issue. But if you just want to kick back and relax for 20 minutes, bigger is better. Highly recommended.

I get horrible pressure migraines that create a lot of heat and pain in my ears, sinuses, and eyes. I have a few of those eye masks that cover your eyes, but you can't exactly see with those on! If I'm working or need to still function this mask has worked out pretty well. It fits perfectly around my eyes and forehead, the velcro strap at the top holds it securely in place, and also covers a little bit more of my eye/sinus area than those normal eye masks (which only cover the eyes); however, the bottom seems to be made for individuals with a very different face shape from mine. The mouth hole doesn't line up with my mouth and the part that should rest against my chin doesn't fit as well as the top. The velcro for the bottom half also doesnt really help hold it any closer. But! This is just for my particular face shape, and it's not like you want it suction cupped to your face because let me tell you, boy, does this get cold!! It doesnt stay freezing cold for an incredible amount of time (note that I've never timed it, but they do suggest only leaving it on for a few minutes or so) but for my needs it works out great. It cools down very nicely but is cold enough in the beginning so that my burning brain is momentarily put at ease.

The measurements in product description are accurate, but I wasn't looking closely and comparison measuring what 7 inches would actually cover across my face. I am a petite woman and have a normal size head and face. The cold clay portion of the mask does not cover the cheeks and to the ears. I dermaroll my face and need my cheeks and to my ears to be cooled off after to help with pain. This is definitely not an XL by any stretch of the imagination. Not sure if I will return. If I had payed attention to the measurements I would not have purchased. It is of good quality, soft and luxurious lining for those that don't need full face coverage.

I use this mask every morning. After showering, put on my facial serum then wear the mask as I get dressed, pack lunch, etc. The mask helps my serum work better and the soft fabric soaks up any extra. I've used this mask for months and it's still good as new. To clean I spray with rose water & wipe down with a makeup cleansing towelette. Honestly one of the best purchases I've made for my skin. For a headache just flip and use the clay side - freeze that headache right away and better than a bag of frozen peas, ha! The Velcro does get tangled in my hair if it's braided but this is worth dealing with and does not detract from the mask at all.

This stayed cold for about 20 minutes. I have very sensitive skin, though; and my face broke out in blisters and rash everywhere that the inside fabric covering of the mask touched. I don’t know what is on that fabric, but it made my face itch really badly. Now my face is covered with rash and with scabs from scratching. This is not for people with sensitive skin! Sorry, FOMI Care!

This ice mask does it job! However I will note, it is quite big for my face. I do see that I did buy a x-large size as they didn't have any other size. My goal for buying this was to be able to breathe through my nose, have a weighted ice cold mask (the gel beads feel to 'light' on my face), and have it stay cold for longer than 10 minutes. It does all of that! The mouth piece and nose piece line up however the 'eyes' go on my eyebrows so i can barley see out of the mask but personally I rather have my eyes chilled than my eyebrows. I would buy again or more so I can have two.

Soo... It seems that the engineer of this product didn’t quite think things throught very well... The bottom straps make no sense. You attach the velcro and they’re just floating around because the bottom reaches almost your neck and naturally there isn’t much to hug there. They should have been made smaller, or actually tried on a person? Did they fit someone’s head correctly? I doubt it, because the bottom of the mask doesn’t quite touch your chin nor does the top of the mask to your forehead. Yeah I got the right size, it fits my face... It just doesn’t grab on. I had to grab the bottom straps with a hair clip and put headbands on the top and bottom. Other than that the cold feels nice on the face, but barely lasts about five minutes.

It is a little hard upon arrival and needs a microwave jolt so it can be molded.The more I use it and mold it the better it gets even after being in the freezer.
