Great little grinder
What a great little grinder! This was an upgrade from the original model and great to see the grind setting is now stepless which is a good improvement as previous stepped model made dialling in a shot more difficult. It’s a great design and easy to use and maintain - I use virtually exclusively for espresso but would be good for other coarser grinds. Good reviews on YouTube. Also Mii Coffee customer service is great - had some issues with previous model and company sorted out quickly and efficiently - you can buy with confidence!

Beware the motor losing power....
Bought Mar 2024 but sadly after just 7 months the motor is starting to lose power. Initially assumed some grinds had got stuck underneath the burrs which in turn was slowing the motor but close inspection showed this was clean and when run without the burrs in place it was still slow. Was a great grinder up until this point producing lovely consistent espresso every day.To get the unit looked at and/or repaired you have to send it back to the US at your own cost despite being able to demonstrate the issue in a short video.Should be a lot better at this price point.

Decent grinder for it's price point
As far as coffee grinders go they are generally very expensive, but this delivers a price point that most can afford by comparison to others that perform similar to this.I was definitely on the fence with buying it as it's not a Turin sd40 but it is essentially the same unit but I don't think it has quite the same quality control that Turin would deliver, two screws on the output spout seem to be slightly rusty and there was slight deposits of coffee left within the grinder from the testing period at the factory I would believe( the box was sealed up within another box as new nothing had previously been opened which led me to believe it's from the factory) but, as far as the device goes it performs as it should and produces very nice coffee providing you use fresh beans(always use fresh beans from your local roaster if possible).I do find the dispenser pot does like to try and move around a bit when grinding, not significantly but it's a little annoying that the magnetic base doesn't just hold it in place. If you are considering this grinder I would say go for it, you can also purchase a mod from 3D Cults (if you have a 3d printer) which allows you to 3D print a worm screw allowing stepless adjustments to dial in your grind. Danielle has reviewed below and I agree with her points also. Again some of this may seem negative but overall I'm very happy with the grinder for it's price point.

Excellent so far
Great grinder. If it lasts it will be great value. The reviews that mention that the dial just spins and spins don't seem to understand how it works.

Electrical failure.
Edit after a 5 star review: lasted 6 months whilst being looked after and regularly cleaned. As others have said, electrical failure blowing up the motor and tripping the fuse box. Totally dead now, awesome.Took a shot on this after seeing one of the reviews saying this was basically a Turin SD40, and after some research (on Reddit lol) it actually is that just rebranded! Another review comments on having some evidence of coffee inside, and yes so did mine. However I think (stress on the think there) that is from product testing rather than it being a used item. Probably. Either way the burrs are perfect so I just accepted my fate. Finest settings are just too fine to use, espresso on a duo temp pro I'm at about 8 or 9 depending on the beans, pour over I'm at about 17 or 18 and getting nice results. I love it to be honest.

Grinds well but defect on the lid of the hopper takes away from the experience
Great for grinding coffee, I use it for espresso and Aeropress. It doesn't take much space and it's easy to use. It makes delicious coffee but of course make sure you buy quality beans. If it wasn't for the issues I mention below, I would have given it 5 stars.I take two points off because the wooden lid of the hopper is too big - there is 1-2mm space between the lip of the lid and the hopper. Which means that when I grind I need to hold the lid, otherwise the vibrations will knock it off. Also, it's hard to put it on the hopper because it keeps wanting to fall off, so sometimes it takes me one or two tries to position it on top. It's a minor but noticeable inconvenience.I am also not very happy with the instruction manual, I can't find information on even basic questions so I have to figure them out or search online from elsewhere. Also, the existing documentation is written in a way that makes it difficult to understand. Overall, the manufacturer needs to re-write the instruction manual as I believe most customers would need something to get them started with this appliance and unfortunately this manual is inadequate. Finally, the company is impossible to get a hold of. With some sellers there is a button to "contact seller" but not with this one which means that, unless I return the grinder as defective because of the lid, I will have to learn to live with the oversized hopper lid. It would have been easier to contact the seller regarding the lid and just get a replacement for it.It might seem I'm being more negative but actually I really do like the grinder so, for those of you on the fence whether to get it, go for it!

Kinda awesome
The magnet at the bottom of the cup fell off as soon as I opened the box and the Alan keys provided for service were the wrong size for the bolts. None of this stops you from using the product but it would have been nicer to actually have it as it's meant to be.
