Hair Growth Serum
This 1 ounce bottle of hair thickening serum has a lovely texture to massage into scalp. The directions call for 2-4 drops to be massaged into scalp daily. This bottle should last at least 3 months when using only 2 drops. I apply to the thinning areas first and then massage throughout the scalp making sure that most of the concentration of product is on the thinner spots. The fragrance is very light. The formulation includes extracts, oils, peptides all to energize the scalp and reduce inflammation. I’m very pleased with this hair serum and look forward to seeing results before this bottle is empty. I do use minoxidil once per day and will continue applying this serum in the evening. The box has an expiration date stamped on the bottom of the box. So far I am pleased with this product and glad to see that it is made right here in the U.S.

Slight improvement
This hair growth serum showed a slight improvement over several months of use. I have been using it daily since the summer and am noticing quite a few new baby hairs where it has been applied. I was skeptical at first but decided to stick with it because as someone in there late 30s, it's time. Thankfully I did notice some positive results after about a month and decided to keep up with it. The smell of the product is good and not offensive in any way and the texture is better than other products that I have used in that it is not necessarily an oil-based product that leaves your hair greasy and slimy. I did transfer the product into an applicator with little metal roller balls that evenly distribute it so that I would not have to use the dropper lid or rub it in with my fingers. I think that this made it a lot easier to keep up with and highly recommend doing it that way.

It worked for me!
I noticed that I had a very noticable bald spot right along my part. It also extended a bit further as shown in my picture. I started using this product right away and applied it everyday. After 3 months of daily use, I can no longer see the very noticable bald spot that was along my part! The serum has a very pleasant high end scent but it is little a bit runny because sometimes it would drip down to my forehead if I didn't massage into my scalp quick enough. Overall, I am very pleased with my results!

GVG Hair Growth Serum
I am singing the praises of the GVG Hair Growth Serum. I didn't expect much, but I have been using only once a day (about 6 drops on my fingers, massaged into my scalp) and I am already seeing growth and baby hairs left and right. It is watery and has a lovely sweet smell. I use the smallest amount of my eyebrows (it does not say it is made for this, but I took my chances and I am glad I did) and, within less than a week (!), a couple thinning areas that had been that ways for months grew in! I am beyond shocked by this product. The ingredients look great. I will be returning for this.Update: In researching, it’s impossible to find any company of this sort. Yes, the product may have some ingredients that help with hair and scalp health, but I am uncertain how safe it is overall and the lack of information and conflicting directions on the packaging worries me. Furthermore, the bottles are definitely made to replicate a well-known, expensive brand, which feels like a ploy to get purchases quickly. I need more info. to feel safe continuing.

PLEASE READ!
I picked up this bottle of hair serum for my mother. Between her loosing her hair when she went through chemo and the prescriptions she needed to take afterwards, her once thick and beautiful hair never really grew back right. I don't like seeing her suffer, and I know that the thin spots bother her...a TON, so I have picked up many different products for her to try over the years. Some have been wildly expensive, so I was excited to see that this formula was made in the US (supposedly), affordable and at first glance, had some beneficial ingredients. Before I continue I want to mention that I am a diehard skincare/beauty junkie and have been for many years. I like to know exactly what I am putting on/in my body and why. Several years back I really got interested in researching skincare and beauty ingredients and formulations. I have friends who are scientists who work on these formulas and they have been a total lifeline in my research on top of text books and the internet. I feel it is INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT to not only read product labels, but to know what these ingredients are and what theur purpose is as well. With that said, here is my experience and thoughts on this serum. The product arrived quick, with the plastic bottle packed in a box that was fully sealed/protected in tamper proof plastic. Despite searching the box and bottle throughly, I was unable to locate any type of lot number for the product and the only hint of an expiration date is the Open Jar symbol, which shows that the product is good for 6 months after opening. I'll be honest, the box does look a bit 'budget', and it gives me some real 'Made in China' vibes. Between the packaging, no real identifying saftey information and the mis-spellings/grammatical errors on the ingredient list, I had some real doubts and saftey concerns here.As always, I want to know the ingredients contained in the formula and want to make sure everything is safe. For the most part, this formula seemed to have some impressive and beneficial ingredients for hair health. There are humectants, anti-fungals and a host of extracts that make sense for a product like this. I was reading along when I stumbled across sodium hydroxide, right in the middle of the list, before Biotin even. This product, sodium hydroxide, is also known as lye or caustic soda. It's not unheard of in haircare and can be beneficial in certain aspects like relaxing the hair pattern. It is mostly used (in small quantities!) to adjust the pH level of the hair and and break down the hair's protein structure, thus giving it a straighter, more relaxed appearance. It has actually been declared as a carcinogen by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, but is still allowed to be used in the beauty industry, in very small amounts, for the purposes stated above. Seeing this ingredient really threw me through a loop, as I have never, EVER seen this in a hair growth formula EVER before! Matter of fact, I did a bit of digging and not only is this not used in any other hair growth formula, there's more than enough evidence and research that sodium hydroxide can damage the hair and scalp, potentially leading to hair loss- instead of promoting growth! Again, this is in the middle of the list, coming before any of the beneficial peptides and even Biotin! This was just way too suspicious for me and way too risky, so I kept digging into the brand/product and found even more things that didn't vibe. The set of instructions that is shown online with the marketing and promotional material says to use this serum twice a day- morning and night. But the instructions on the box say to use this only once a day, on towel dried hair. So...which is it? Because it can't be both. Again, you don't see mistakes or discrepancies like this on legitimate products.GVG Haircare IS the name of a reputable salon in Florida which provides hair treatments and services, however they do not make their own products. I looked up the information for LLC name listed with this company/product and didn't find anything registered in the state of CA. Then, the business address brought me to a strip mall (that shared space with an animal hospital) and was simply listed as an 'ECom Partnership', which means buying and selling goods online. There isn't a single reputable business (or any business at all for that matter) outside of Amazon or E-B** who sells this product either.Ultimately, with the confusing instructions, packaging that's littered with errors and inconsistencies, the formula which contains a very questionable and downright dangerous ingredient and a real lack of transparency in where this product is made or comes from (just because it claims to be made in the US doesn't make it true), I threw this right in the trash. I wasn't going to risk my mother's hair getting worse for some budget hair serum.Let me say this-I am not owned or indepted to anyone.Yes, I am a Viner and when I agreed to be a part of this program, I agreed to write 'Honest and Insightful' reviews of the products I try. I'm not an influencer, so I'm not trying to sell things in order to make a commission. I have NO reason to not be 100% honest with my reviews either. I am a regular consumer, just like you, who reads reviews and tries to make the most informed decisions about what to spend my hard earned money on.This product is VERY personal.I have watched my mom struggle with her self esteem because of her thinning hair and exposed scalp. Any product or company that exploits this weakness for profit should be exposed, and that's exactly what I'm trying to do here. It's important for me not to use my knowledge just for myself and my family, but to share it with others as well. From one consumer to another- consider this is a warning. When you look at the other reviews here, no one is claiming that this is a miracle product, and now we know why. Don't waste your money. And if you decide to try this anyways, good luck to you.

Good quality
This hair growth serum is very similar to others I have tried. The ingredients and very similar as well. However, after trying this one for some time I have found that my hair feels fuller and stronger. Not sure what makes it stand out from the rest but it definitely works.

Lightweight serum that absorbs quickly and doesn't make hair look greasy
This hair growth serum is very lightweight so it feels great on my scalp, absorbs quickly, and doesn't make my hair look greasy. It has a pleasant scent and I did not have any negative reactions to this product. I'm hopeful that it will help increase the thickness of my hair, but I will need to try it for several months to fully evaluate whether or not it works, but so far so good.
