Rode WS7 Deluxe Wind Screen Pop Filter for NTG3

I wish the seller had been honest about the self age of the product. It is old (2018). It was dusty, yellowed and crumpled on one side when I opened the plastic.However, the sheild is perfect; no shedding at all and works quite well in light windy conditions.

An excellent complementary product for Rode Shotgun Mics, Viz Rode NTG-2 and NTG-3.Works well to reduce wind noise in moderate wind conditions.In stronger winds, blimps such as the one from Rode are recommended.Pricing can be made more attractive.

fits NTG3 I bought a couple of days ago.....this is what I was looking for....a bit expensive though....but price determines the quality too

Perfect fit - Lightweight and excellent wind protection. I bought this along with the PG2 Pistol grip and the combo is excellent.Much better than the stock foam and an excellent alternative to the heavy blimp.

I have used this every week for 12 months. It fits brilliantly and gives really good defence from wind. It won't protect from the kind of storms we have been having in the uk this winter but It should cope in most wind strengths. If you need perfect protection you should invest in a blimp style windshield.

Nowhere on the listing (20/12/19) does it say that the handle is not included.

I am using this Wind screen with my NTG3 microphone and a shock mount. The wind screen is so long that when the microphone is fully inserted only about an inch and a half sticks out to put in a shock mount. I have to slide the wind screen forward another inch so that I can attach the micrphone to my camera.Otherwise the wind screen is great. No shedding or loose hair. Great subtle dark gray color. Overall very high quality and stops every bit of wind.

This windshield could be mistaken for a Rycote. It is well madeand works just as well as a similar sized Rycote
